MCA dry tattooing actually goes by several different names; MCA dry needling or Multitrepannic Collagen Actuation to name just a couple, but regardless of how you know it, it should not be confused with microneedling treatments.

MCA dry tattooing for stretch marks is an amazingly effective way for reducing the appearance of unwanted stretch marks through the application of a dry (i.e no pigment) tattoo machine directly on the stretch marks themselves.

This causes a minor injury to the stretch marks, raising the blood to the surface and this, in turn, triggers the healing process.  It is this healing response that creates new collagen and stimulates melanin production which can help return the pigment to the stretch marks, thus reducing the appearance of the marks as they heal over the coming weeks and months.

It is recommended that you have three treatments on an area delivered at six week intervals for maximum results.

Frequently asked questions

Here are some common questions and answers about this treatment. If you require any other information, please call us on 01527 350 401 or contact us.

As everybody’s pain threshold varies, it is difficult to say exactly how comfortable you will find the treatment. However, it is advisable that you purchase a numbing cream and apply this up to an hour prior to your allotted appointment time.

*Please note that numbing is not provided in the clinic, if you arrive without having applied your numbing cream we might not be able to carry out the treatment on that day.*

Much like any beauty treatment, not everybody can undergo MCA dry tattooing. There are contra-indications that would prevent a person from receiving this treatment and it is advisable that you let the clinic know of any medical conditions that you have, to ensure that you are suitable.

Many clinics choose to charge by the size of the area that the stretch marks cover.

We, however, like our pricing to be simple and transparent, and therefore the cost for MCA dry tattooing is shown below.

Had the 3D fat freezing today. Nat explained everything in detail. I was quite nervous as I didn’t know what to expect. It was good. Can’t wait to book more treatments and can’t wait to see the results of the fat freezing. Thanks Nat x
