What Are Under Eye Bags?

Under eye bags are a build up of fats and fluids and are a cause for concern for many people. Due to their location there is no hiding them, and even the best makeup can’t disguise them.

There are several possible causes for under eye bags which range from lack of sleep, a high-salt diet, hereditary implications and ageing. I’m sure if you’re reading this then you would have already done several Google searches to discover the causes and determined which category you might fall in to.

Traditionally, there are only a few options available which specifically tackle eye bags. Those being:

  • Plasma skin tightening
  • Tear trough filler
  • Surgical removal (blepharoplasty)

Whilst all of these options are valid in their own right, there are negative points attached to them.

  1. They can be expensive! Treatment costs can vary depending on your location but it is typical that plasma pen skin tightening can cost anywhere from £250 upwards for one treatment. Likewise, tear trough filler can cost £299 upwards whereas prices for blepharoplasty can start from an eye-watering £3500!
  2. Downtime. Depending on which treatment you choose from the above list there will be an element of downtime. Tear trough filler has the least with the risk of bruising and minor swelling. Downtime with plasma pen is slightly more severe with a burning sensation after the treatment has been administered which usually subsides within a few hours, swelling around the eyes, but most noticeably will be the brown carbon crusts left on the skin which cannot be covered with makeup to prevent the healing process from being compromised, and which take from anywhere between seven to fourteen days to fall off. Lastly, is the downtime you will experience from surgical removal. As blepharoplasty is an invasive procedure, you will experience major swelling, bruising and discomfort for which it is advised that you take a week off from work to recover.
  3. Risk. Like any treatment or procedure there will be an element of risk, the effects of which can range from minor to major: Allergic reactions, scarring, and in rare cases – blindness.  Risks are very often overlooked and waivers signed, if you pardon the pun, within the blink of an eye leaving no leave to recourse should an adverse reaction occur.

So, What is Blepharonat?

Blepharonat was created by two UK scientific developers and is the world’s first topical gel to remove under eye bags and minimise hoods. It flushes the build of fluid retention (or fat) from the under eye bags within just 5 days!
The gel is applied to area, covered and left for up to half an hour. It’s a simple and as painless as that!  Depending on the severity of the eye bags multiple applications may be required but generally results can be seen from the very first application and this mind-blowing product achieved a 98.6% success rate in clinical trials. Equally amazing is the fact that this product is not restricted to in-clinic use only and can be used at home.

Eye Bag Reduction Before and Afters

Frequently asked questions

Here are some common questions and answers about this treatment. If you require any other information, please call us on 01527 350 401 or contact us.

People often refer to dark circles and crepey skin under the eye as eye bags. This is not the case. Under eye bags in their truest form are bulging ‘bags’ under the eyes which is generally caused by a fluid build-up or herniated orbital fat. Blepharonat was specifically designed for this purpose, and although some of the ingredients can assist with plumping the skin and thus partially reduce any loose skin, it will not remove sagging skin or dark circles.

You may experience a mild tingling/burning sensation however this usually subsides after a few minutes but in general the treatment is pain-free. The first session will be carried out at a reduced time of just twenty minutes to ensure that you do not have an adverse reaction to any of the ingredients in Blepharonat. If you do suffer from an adverse reaction the solution will be removed and the eye area washed with cool water, and regrettably the treatment will end. At the time of writing this, no client has ever suffered a reaction to the product.

If you are successful in obtaining a free treatment, we will advise you of available appointments. You will then have the choice in which appointment you would like. You will then be sent an online consultation form for us to check that there is nothing in your medical history which would prevent you having the treatment. On the day of your appointment we ask that you arrive on time, if you are late for your appointment we may not be able to see you due to other client bookings.

When you arrive, and after going through your consultation form, you will be taken to a treatment room, where the eye area will be quickly cleansed. Before photos will be taken for our records and the product will be applied and covered. It will stay in place for twenty minutes before being removed, and more photos being taken.

Before you leave we will give you a sample pack which includes everything that you will need for you to continue the treatment for the proceeding four days at home.

No, there are no hidden charges at all. All we ask from clients who are successful in obtaining one of our free treatments is that they sign a model release form to allow us to use their images for promotional purposes and email/message us a photo of their results on day five.

Due to the popularity of this offer and the limited spaces available, if you are late for your appointment, unable to attend and need to rearrange, or fail to attend, you will unfortunately lose your free treatment place.

We only allocate a certain number of appointments for this free Blepharonat treatment each week and they are generally booked weeks in advance.

In the interests of fairness and to ensure we reach as many people as possible, our free in-clinic eye bag reduction treatment is limited to one per person. Remember, we also give away a home-care pack to each person that attends, enabling them to administer another four treatments at home.

If you feel as though you would benefit from more sessions after this you can either book in for another in-clinic session at the cost of £50, or alternatively you could purchase a bottle of Blepharonat directly from the manufacturer’s website at www.liquidlipoinernational.com at the cost of £69.99 (accurate at the time of writing this).

Had the 3D fat freezing today. Nat explained everything in detail. I was quite nervous as I didn’t know what to expect. It was good. Can’t wait to book more treatments and can’t wait to see the results of the fat freezing. Thanks Nat x
